What Is the Purpose of JavaScript?

JavaScript runs directly in the browser and brings websites to life by enabling interactive functions. Unlike HTML and CSS, which handle structure and styling, JavaScript controls behavior — like opening menus, switching tabs, or expanding FAQ sections. Without JavaScript, websites would be static and less user-friendly. It’s the tool that makes websites dynamic and responsive.

My Experience With JavaScript

I use JavaScript to build interactive elements like hamburger menus that open and close with a click, or accordion components in FAQ sections. These features make websites feel modern and intuitive. Beyond that, JavaScript offers endless possibilities — from image galleries to live filters and real-time updates. It’s a powerful part of my toolkit for building engaging user experiences.
